Christmas Party 2013
Tuesday night (yes, a work night!), was the Hatch Christmas party at Koniambo, held at the same place as last year, chez Mr René KASTAVY à Koné.
Before leaving, I partially shaved my facial hair into a moustache.
It was raining heavily when we left, so many wet people in the bus and people wearing raincoats.
I still had my Santa hat from last year.
I took about 350 photographs this year, for the fun of it, I’ll only post selfies. Maybe I’ll find a way to spam the rest onto here… next time!
First were the drinks and snacks.
Then, there was a dance performance, and dinner.
We drew numbers out of a hat, and the number we got, corresponded to what present we got. I got a pen.
Then, there was a big cake!
and a speech, with some prizes for some records (longest time at site, most nights at camp, most meals at camp), as well as some recognition announcements (5 years for me, Gala, Gary and Brett).
Followed by dancing, where the dancers pulled out people to dance.
I wanted to stay and watch, but it was getting late (and on a work night!). So managed to get a ride back to camp.
